Truck hits traffic lights on Boat Harbour Dr, Pialba

A set of traffic lights has been knocked over by a truck, blocking vehicles on a Hervey Bay road following an earlier crash in Maryborough where four people were injured.

A set of traffic lights on Boat Harbour Dr at Pialba has been knocked over by a truck and are now blocking vehicles.

It is understood the accident occurred near Bunnings just after 6am.

A Queensland Fire Department spokeswoman said the truck driver was not injured.

Meanwhile at Maryborough, paramedics assisted after a vehicle rolled into an embankment on Bryant Street at 10.07pm.

Four patients were assessed, including a young woman in her teens with a back injury, another patient with a spinal injury, and two other patients with minor injuries.

All patients were taken to Hervey Bay Hospital in a stable condition.
