Next steps in Biggenden double murder case

The next step in the case of a woman accused of murdering a baker and his daughter has been revealed in a Queensland courtroom.

An alleged double murder case has come back before the courts this week.

Kristen Leslie Olsen, 25, is charged with the murder of Todd Mooney and his daughter Kirra as well as torching a shed on their Fenwicks Rd property in Biggenden on December 20, 2022.

Her matter was briefly mentioned in the Maryborough Magistrates Court on Monday.

Along with the father and daughter’s alleged murder, Ms Olsen is also charged with a count of arson relating to the fire as well as three individual counts of arson and one count of stealing over an alleged incident on the same day.

No pleas have been entered.

The matter was adjourned until October 28, 2024.
