A man in his 20s who suffered life-threatening injuries in a skateboard accident at Hervey Bay has been transferred to a hospital in Brisbane.
Emergency crews were called to the corner of Torquay Terrace and Bideford St about 1pm on Saturday.
The rider was rushed to the Hervey Bay hospital with significant head injuries.
A Wide Bay Hospital and Health Services spokesperson confirmed the man was transported to a Brisbane hospital for further treatment on Wednesday morning.
At Dallarnil, west of Maryborough, a man in his 60s was treated for life-threatening injuries after falling from scaffolding.
He was taken to Biggenden hospital and was expected to be flown to a bigger hospital.
