A Fraser Coast Magistrate has issued a number of arrest warrants under the Bail Act after those with Thursday, July 17 court dates failed to show up.
Police will now be on the lookout for these alleged offenders in the area so they can be brought before the Hervey Bay Magistrates Court to be sentenced, or to provide an update on their case.
Arrest warrants were issued for the following residents for allegedly breaching their bail condition of failing to appear.
Note: all individuals are innocent until proven guilty
James Marcus Lovett
A bail act warrant was issued for the arrest of Wondunna man James Marcus Lovett, 33, after he failed to appear at the Hervey Bay Magistrates Court on July 17.
His charges include two counts of stealing, one count of possession of a knife in a public place or school, and one count of failure to appear in accordance with undertaking bail conditions.
Graeme Bradley Menner
A bail act warrant was also issued for Brisbane man Graeme Bradley Menner, 44, on Thursday, July 17, after he failed to show up for his court date.
Mr Menner is charged with one count each of obstructing a police officer, committing a public nuisance, possessing dangerous drugs, and obstructing a police officer while in a public place and adversely affected by substances.
