An elderly man on a bike was taken to hospital with a possible spinal injury after he was hit by a car at a Pialba intersection on Friday morning.

An elderly cyclist had his Friday morning bike ride cut short, after he was hit by a car at Pialba.
Paramedics and police were called to the scene at Beach Rd and Boat Harbour Drive at 6.45 on Friday morning, where the man in his 70s was treated.
A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson said he reported knee pain, and was taken to Hervey Bay hospital in a stable condition with a possible spinal injury.
A Queensland Police spokesperson said it was a low speed crash, but no further details of the incident were reported.
