Maryborough’s council administration office set to relocate for three weeks

Maryborough’s council services staff are set to relocate to the Brolga Theatre for three weeks while the premises in Adelaide St undergoes a minor makeover.
Organisational services director Keith Parsons said the Maryborough Customer Service Centre would be temporarily closed from June 24 to July 14 during the works, which are designed to improve the office’s layout, functionality and security for staff and customers.
“There will be minimal impact to the public as council will maintain face-to-face customer service in Maryborough via the box office at the Brolga Theatre during this period,” he said.
“Our phone and email customer services will be unaffected, and the Hervey Bay Customer Service Centre will continue to operate as usual.
“Council thanks residents in advance for their patience and understanding while the Maryborough Customer Service Centre improvements are carried out.”
Council Customer Service staff will be available at the Brolga Theatre box office from 8.30am to 4pm, Monday to Friday from June 24 to July 14, while residents can also contact the Customer Service team by phone at 1300 79 49 29 or email enquiry@frasercoast.qld.gov.au.
It comes as new council administration buildings are set to go ahead in Maryborough and Hervey Bay in coming years.
