A man in his 50s was transported to Hervey Bay Hospital after colliding with a dog while riding his bike.

A man in his 50s was taken to Hervey Bay Hospital on Tuesday morning, after his bike collided with a dog east of Tooan Tooan Creek at Scarness, on the Fraser Coast.
Teen held at gunpoint during Hervey Bay carjacking
“The incident occurred on the road side, near the beach entrance, at around 8:30am,” a Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson said.
The man was transported to hospital in stable condition, reportedly experiencing chest pains.
