A memorial will be held for a 22-year-old man who was sept away by floodwaters near Gympie last weekend.

The memorial will be held for him at Mooloo Produce on Friday evening at 6.15pm.
Adam Ross, 22, was killed on Friday when the ute he was driving was swept away on Cherry Tree Road off the Bruce Highway near where more than 600mm of rain fell with little warning.
He worked at Glenwood’s Mountain Produce & Saddlery, where he was a popular staff member.
His colleagues and friends have been left devastated by his loss, with the business closing its doors for the day in the aftermath of his death on Saturday.
“Out of respect for our lost Mooloo family member. Glenwood shop will be closed today,” a post on the business’s Facebook page read.
Flowers have since been left outside the business as the country community, between Gympie and the Fraser Coast, mourns the young man’s loss.
Ina Wagner is a regular customer at the business and said she would miss seeing his smiling face.

Ms Wagner moved to Glenwood in July and said he was a shy but kind person.
“I’m so sorry he passed away,” she said.
“He was shy, but when he got to know people he warmed up to them.
“It’s a huge shock for the community.
“We all liked him.”
Others also paid tribute online while plans were being made to hold a candlelight vigil in his honour.
“This is such sad news, everyone knew him as a real nice young man,” Anthony Morrison wrote.
Rob Howard said Mr Ross had bloomed while working at the produce business and being mentored by its owners, Debbie and Bradford Mathys.
