Hundreds of people have enjoyed the fun and fashions of the Torbanlea Picnic Races. PHOTOS, VIDEO:

A huge crowd turned up for the Torbanlea Picnic Races on Saturday, with racegoers dressed to the nines for the big event.

In addition to the horse racing, there was a wood chopping event and fashions on the field.

Danielle Hynes claimed the women’s best dressed winner at the event.

She said she had found her stunning dress at Toowoomba and had known straight away it would be perfect for the event.

“It’s just been hanging in the cupboard,” she said.

With live music, food and a jumping castle for the kids, there was plenty for the crowd to see and do in addition to the horse racing.
