A driver is in serious condition after being trapped in a vehicle in a multi-vehicle crash involving a truck at Wanora on Brisbane Valley Highway on Monday.

A driver is in serious condition after being trapped in a vehicle in a multi-vehicle crash involving a truck at Wanora on Brisbane Valley Highway on Monday.
Emergency services were called to a truck and two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Brisbane Valley Highway and Pine Mountain Rd just after 3.30pm.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “One patient is in serious condition and still assessing three other patients.
“The one who was in a serious condition was trapped in a vehicle.”
She said the patient in a serious condition was being treated by paramedics for “arm and head injuries”.
A male in a serious condition was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital, but three other patients who were assessed at the scene declined transport to hospital.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency services spokeswoman said crews helped QAS to extract one person from a vehicle.
“Used cutting gear to extricate one person from the vehicle, they are still in action,” she said.
Emergency services have closed the highway at the intersection of Pine Mountain Rd south of Fernvale. Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
