A large crowd flocked to the main street of Dalby to partake in this year’s Anzac Day events.

Despite the cold chill that’s just begun sweeping the air and the dark clouds that threatened the sky, Dalby residents stood together to pay their respects to those who served our country.

The Anzac Day march began at Bell Park along Cunningham St and Patrick St through to Anzac Park, where the Commemoration Service began and was led by Western Downs Mayor Paul McVeigh.

As the first Anzac Day in years to be held without Covid social restrictions, the atmosphere of those who attended the special events was filled with excitement.
