TWO recitals marked the end of year performance for talented dancers from Southern Star Academy of Dance.

Audience members experienced the wonder in the world of Oz, in a Down the Yellow Brick Road-themed performance.

Showcasing seven types of dance, including musical theatre, ballet and acrobatics, the show saw over 150 students take to the stage.

Dancers from as young as two as well as those who are advanced contributed their part to the show across two performances yesterday at Dalby State High School.

Owner of the school, Danielle Small said she was really impressed with the performance.

"We thought the performance was amazing,” Mrs Small said. "We're really impressed with the kids. We had lots of good feedback from the audience.”

"We're really appreciative of the parents and the teachers for supporting the kids and making days like today happen.”
