Young boy struck on highway utters his first words
Eight-year-old Jaxon Green from Wandoan has begun opening his eyes and speaking for the first time since the horrific Warrego Hwy accident.

AFTER five agonising days waiting with baited breath Hannah Green finally heard her eight-year-old son Jaxon speak for the first time since he was struck by a car on the Warrego Highway last week.
"They are unsure of when he will wake up completely but has opened his eyes and said 'mum' on Thursday afternoon," Mrs Green said.
A family member close to Mr and Mrs Green said it would have been a great relief to (his parents) James and Hannah to hear their son speak for the first time since the accident.
