IF you've had a drive around town lately, you might have seen a bright new billboard promoting the 'One Long Table' food festival.

Excitement for the September event is already starting to build, with talk about what kind of food vendors visitors can expect so see.

The Chinchilla Community Commerce and Industry Inc are behind the event which will showcase all kinds of cuisine from far and wide.

CCCI event co-ordinator Gaye Smith said they were ecstatic about the billboard.

"I think the billboard is absolutely fantastic,” she said.

"It's going to be a great night out for families.

"We encourage the community to get involved and suggest the type of food they want to see.”
