Truck crashes on Warrego Highway near Chinchilla

A truckie was injured after his truck crashed and rolled on a major highway just west of Chinchilla.

A truck towing two trailers crashed and rolled at Baking Board 10km west of Chinchilla on the Western Downs.

A Queensland Police Service spokesman said the prime mover crashed on the Warrego Highway at 3.30pm on Tuesday, October 5, scattering debris across the highway.

“Police have the driver and there doesn’t seem to be anything blocking the road,” he said.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said paramedics were treating the man for minor scratches and cuts.
