A SUNSHINE Coast hinterland resort catering for an ever-expanding bed and breakfast, small conference and boutique wedding market is on the market through Ray White Commercial Caloundra.
The four-and-a-half star Maleny Views Cottage Resort and Conference Centre at 1 Panorama Place, Maleny, is offered as an investment opportunity with the existing managers committed to a long-term lease agreement.
The property, which is on a land area of about 4267sq m and offered for sale via auction, is being marketed by Ray White Commercial Caloundra's Len Greedy, Alan Gray and Luca Reynolds.
Mr Greedy said the resort was professionally managed and generated net income of about $136,036 per annum.
"The original owners of this unique resort are committed to selling at auction or prior," he said.
Mr Gray said the resort was in a picturesque location near the townships of Maleny and Montville and enjoyed magnificent views.
"There are views from the cottages to the coastline and extending southward to the Glasshouse Mountains as the land is elevated and set above the road level," he said.

Mr Reynolds said the resort comprised three cottages each containing two studio cabins, a penthouse and studio villa, reception and conference facilities, wedding gazebo and swimming pool."
It also has a separate three-bedroom manager's residence with spectacular views over the hinterland towards the coast from its full-length veranda," he said.
"Both the cottages and villas have been refurbished and improvements to the site include stamped concrete driveways, an in-ground swimming pool and a thatched roof wedding gazebo.
The conference facilities are centrally located in the complex and comprise an air-conditioned conference room with internet connection, projection screen and adjoining undercover entertainment area."
The resort will be auctioned at The Events Centre, 20 Minchinton St, Caloundra, at 11am (AEST) on Thursday, May 19.
