THERE was a special feeling in the air at the Chinchilla Dance Studio (CDS) end of year concert.
Dancers from the little twinkle toes all the way up to the seniors were bursting with anticipation and nerves backstage as they prepared to debut all their hard work and practice on the Cultural Centre stage.
An enormous team effort, CDS teachers Miss Kristen and Miss Asha said the entire undertaking would not have been possible without the dedicated students and parents as well as the generous volunteers on the night and the contributions from Chinchilla businesses.
"Thank you to all of the dancers for working so hard all year, being such great students and putting on such professional show - you have made us very proud," Miss Asha said.
"Thank you also to our student teacher, Miss Lauren Fendley for her assistance with our twinkle toes throughout the year, and a big thank you to the parents for supporting our community studio and for choosing us to be your children's teachers."

Miss Kristen and Miss Asha said they were grateful to their team of backstage volunteers for giving their time, effort and energy behind the scenes.
"Jude Brennan, Kylie Hindle, Stephen Wroe, Crawford Fendley, Helen Maclean, Helen Hubbard, Sharyn Fendley, Andrea Benecke, Kat Hart, Kellie McKenzie, Kellie Richards, Mariah Dolbel and Teneale Luckraft were all incredible." Miss Asha said.
"And Pete, Seth and Zach Gerke from Gerkies media team were also massive supporters by capturing the concert for everyone to have as a memory of the evening."
