The family behind a Western Downs microbrewery has an enticing offer for the tradespeople who can help them get their new business up and running – free beer for a year.
The business received the green light from Western Downs Regional Council to go ahead with construction, but have had trouble finding someone to finish the build.
“So hard to find tradies out west! Our brewery is ready to go,” the business wrote in a Facebook post.
“Free beer for a year (plus a beer tap name) to the successful tenderer to construct our brewery building and associated infrastructure.
“Expressions of interest via the Charley’s Creek website for tender documentation.”
Last year Western Downs councillor Kylie Bourne showed her support for the new venture.
“We haven’t seen this type of development in the region before, and it’s encouraging to see local businesses considering new ways to enhance visitor experiences locally,” she said.
“The development will also support local jobs in the region, which is a bonus for business and our economy.”
