UPDATE: Men pulled over on Zeller St Chinchilla charged

HERE’S the reason why a police car and paddy wagon were stopped on Zeller St.

TWO men were detained and searched by Chinchilla police this afternoon at 3.30pm on Zeller St, August 18, which resulted in multiple drug charges.
 

A Chinchilla police spokesman said the men were pulled over while driving along Zeller St.

The spokesman said the passenger of the car, a Roma man visiting Chinchilla, is alleged to have been in the possession of cannabis, utensils that had been used to smoke a dangerous drug, and a knife.

"The male driver was (also) searched where a number of utensils and drug paraphernalia was located," he said.

"Both men were issued with notices to appear in Chinchilla Magistrates Court at a later date."
