After clocking on Monday morning at a Brigalow worksite along the Warrego Highway, two men were allegedly involved in a verbal and physical altercation.

A Queensland Police Service spokesman said on June 7, a verbal argument broke out between a 26-year-old man and 54-year-old man.

The argument turned heated resulting in the young man allegedly attacking the older man while at work.

A Chinchilla police spokesman said the alleged assault was under investigation.
