SHE may not have won over the hearts of bidders just yet, but RiverScape's charm is in no way diminishing as she steps into the market with a price tag of $1.775 million.

The Palmers Island mansion went to auction in Sydney on October 30, but failed to sell under the hammer.

Selling agent LJ Hooker Maclean principal Travis McConnell said while they were unlucky on the day, hopes were still high for the sale of the 420 sq m home.

"There were about eight properties up for auction on the day so there was a good crowd, but unfortunately no luck on our property," Mr McConnell said.

"We have had some interest over the period with inspections but it is always a bit harder in these price ranges.

"We just have to be patient and wait for the right buyer."

Mr McConnell was optimistic the riverfront home would sell in the near future.

"We have had a few sales around that market in recent times, so there are people out there and certainly people looking in these areas as we have had a sale or two down the road in a similar price range," he said.

Owners Paul Burton and Alison Fudge built the five-bedroom home 10 years ago, complete with meticulously selected lighting, a pool, separate winter retreat and decking to make you feel as though you're floating over the river.

Anyone interested in looking through the property at 109 School Rd can phone LJ Hooker Maclean on 6645 2222.
