Rescue chopper attends car, truck collision at Mount Perry, Qld

A man was flown to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with “significant” leg injuries on Wednesday after a serious crash involving a car and truck at Mount Perry.
Emergency crews were called to the scene shortly after 7.30am after the two vehicles collided near the intersection of Monto-Mount Perry Rd and Branch Vale Rd.
A man, aged in his 40s, was one of four people treated at the scene before being taken to hospital.
A woman with hip injuries, a man with seatbelt injuries, and a man with chest injuries were all taken to the Bundaberg Hospital.
Police said traffic control is working to direct traffic around the scene of the crash, with the wrecked vehicles still on part of the road.
