With the federal election drawing near, residents in the Maranoa electorate looking to get ahead of the game will soon be able to cast an early vote. Here’s where you can vote ahead of the looming May 21 election:

With the federal election just around the corner, residents in the federal electorate of Maranoa looking to get ahead of the game will be able to cast an early vote by May 9.
A record number of eligible Australians have enrolled to vote at this year’s election on May 21, with the Australian Electoral Commission confirming 96.8 per cent of eligible Australians have enrolled – up from 96 per cent in 2019.
Voting will kick off at 8am and close at 6pm sharp.
David Littleproud has been sitting as the Federal Member for Maranoa since 2016, with the vast electorate stretching from Kingaroy to Birdsville and all the way up to Winton.

The South Burnett region is divided by three federal electorates - Maranoa, Flynn and Wide Bay - however there are no early voting centres yet for the seats of Flynn or Wide Bay in the South Burnett.
There are 24 candidates running across the South Burnett’s three Federal Electorates, which are currently held by David Littleproud (Maranoa), Colin Boyce (Flynn), and Llew O'Brien (Wide Bay).
Voters can also request a postal ballot from the AEC website (www.aec.gov.au) or from AEC offices up until Wednesday May 18.
If you are interstate on election day and haven’t voted early via post or at an early polling booth, you can only vote at a designated interstate voting centre. The AEC will publish the locations of these centres closer to election day.
