The program of events for the 2024 Eidsvold Cattle Drive kicked off in glamourous style on Saturday night with the Dusk Til Dust long table gala dinner at the historic RM Williams Centre.
More than 50 guests appeared in stunning evening dress, and were greeted by a beautifully presented seating arrangement adorned in candles and eucalyptus.
A three course meal with finger food appetizers and the option of hand rolled chicken mignon or italian herb crusted lamb chops were served for main, and dessert was the option of a beloved classic; sticky date pudding, or french vanilla cheesecake.
The evening marked the launch of the Eidsvold Cattle Drive calendar, a program celebrating the industry and aimed at fundraising for the betterment of regional health care.
Organiser Vivian Hutchinson said the event had raised more than $100,000 for the Royal Flying Doctor Service – Queensland Section, LifeFlight and Burnett Rotary Lodge Bundaberg since its inaugural drive in 2016.
