A 59-year-old woman has died after becoming trapped under a crashed quad bike.
Multiple emergency crews including police, paramedics, and firefighters were called to the scene of the crash on John Clifford Way, about 50km northwest of Bundaberg shortly after 11am Thursday.
Police said initial investigations indicated the woman, local to the area, was riding the bike along the road when it rolled near the Warro National Park.
The woman died at the scene.
Forensic crash investigations were still ongoing, police said.
It is the second serious crash on Bundaberg region roads in less than 24 hours, following the tragic death of a 20-year-old man on Wednesday night in a serious crash at Elliot between a Toyota HiLux and two motorbikes.
