Three hospitalised following two serious crashes near Bundaberg
Two serious crashes on regional roads across the Bundaberg and Burnett regions have left three people in hospital, with two helicopters called in for one.
A man in his 50s has been rushed to hospital following a single-truck rollover north of Bundaberg in the early hours of Thursday morning.
The man was travelling near Lowmead when the truck rolled about 2.14am.
Paramedics raced to the scene near the intersection of the Bruce Hwy and Charnwood Rd, where they treated the man for minor injuries to his head and shoulders.
He was taken to Bundaberg Hospital in a stable condition.
Another two patients were lucky to escape serious harm when the car they were in was involved in a single vehicle crash west of Bundaberg.
The 54-year-old man was travelling with his wife at Eidsvold West area when the crash occurred About 10.37am Wednesday.
Two helicopters flown to the scene at to Eidsvold-Theodore Rd.
The man suffered injuries to his abdomen and neck.
He was flown to Rockhampton in a stable condition.
His wife was flown in a separate helicopter to Bundaberg hospital.
