A teenager has been injured after being hit by a car while riding a scooter in Bundaberg.

A teenage boy has been assessed for injuries after the scooter he was riding collided with a car in Bundaberg on Friday morning.
The crash happened about 8.40am on Walker St in Bundaberg South, a spokesman from the Queensland Ambulance Service said.
The boy was being treated for abrasions before being transported to hospital, the spokesman said.
