Police say avoid Kinkuna intersection after truck rollover

A loaded truck appears to have rolled while trying to negotiate a corner under a railway bridge and is expected to take some time to clear from the road.

Kinkuna Truck Rollover

Police have advised motorists to avoid the intersection of Goodwood Rd and Coonarr Rd in Kinkuna after a truck rollover caused significant delays on Thursday morning.

A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said police responded to reports of a truck rollover at the intersection at 8.05am.

Witnesses said the truck appeared to have rolled over when negotiating a corner passing under a railway bridge.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said the driver, a male patient of undetermined age, was transported to Bundaberg Hospital in a stable condition.

The QPS spokeswoman said no diversions were in place and it could take some time to move the truck off the road, so motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible.
