Police appeal to locate kitt-napped garden statue, unregistered bike

Bundaberg police are appealing for information from the public that may be able to help them with their investigations into a number of offences.

Cheetah statue kitt-napped

Between 2pm and 2.50pm Tuesday, two unknown men attended a business on Avoca Rd and took a cheetah garden statue.

One of the men police want to speak to in relation to the matter is described as being more than six foot tall, caucasian appearance with a mullet haircut.

The second man is described as caucasian appearance, wearing a white shirt and shoes, and tattoos on both legs near the ankle.

Both men left the business in a white Nissan Navara with black roll bars and possibly a soft cover over the tray.

Police are currently investigating the incident and are seeking assistance in identifying the vehicle and persons pictured above, who may be able to assist with inquiries in relation to the matter.

Unlawful vehicle entries

About 1am on Wednesday, a vehicle was unlawfully entered on Targo St and a wallet containing cash was stolen from inside.

During Monday night, a vehicle parked on Griffith St, Bundaberg South had equipment stolen from the external area of the vehicle including a light bar and spotlights.

On March 18, a vehicle parked on Maryborough St, Bundaberg South was damaged and a Rhino sun seeker awning was removed.

Unregistered motorbike

About 8am on March 19, Bundaberg Road Policing Unit were conducting patrols in the Avoca area.

An unregistered motorcycle approached the intersection of Avoca St and O'Connell St where police signalled the rider to stop.

The rider failed to stop and accelerated away from police along Avoca St.

Police are seeking assistance from members of the public to identify the rider and motorcycle involved in the incident as per the picture above.
