Driver left the scene on foot: police seek information over hit-and-run

Bundaberg police are appealing for assistance following a hit and run crash at the intersection of Steffenson and Walker Streets, Svensson Heights about 2am on Wednesday, March 12.

Police said in a statement that a white Subaru with Queensland registration 191LW2 collided with a parked vehicle and then crashed into the gutter.

They said the driver left the scene on foot via a side street and described them as a woman of Caucasian appearance, medium build with brown hair wearing a black shirt and bike shorts with a Nike bag.

Anyone who witnessed the hit and run, or has CCTV/ dashcam footage of the incident is urged to contact police via Policelink (131 444).
