Cash and more stolen in Bundaberg Globe Hotel break-in

A police hunt has begun following a break-in at a Bundaberg watering hole where a thief took cash from the tills and a number of other items.

Bundaberg police are investigating a break-in at the Globe Hotel that occurred early Monday morning.

A Queensland Police Service spokesman said the incident happened about 3am when a thief stole cash from two tills and other “smaller items”.

The police spokesman said the suspect gained access by breaking in through the rear of the Bundaberg North building.
