A Bundaberg mother of five, who died in a car accident on the Burnett Hwy on Wednesday has been remembered by her daughter as “the life of the party”.

Julie Mary Robinson, 42, died on August 23, 2023 after losing control of her car on the Burnett Highway about 6.30am as she headed to Monto where she worked as a traffic controller with Verifact.

Mrs Robinson was born in Sydney before relocating to New Zealand as a child and returning to Australia when she was 18 years old.

Her 16-year-old daughter Danielle Czis said her mum had five children - “four here and one up in heaven”.

“(Mum) loved to party and was known by most as the life of the party, after she moved to Bundaberg in 2012.

“She was also a huge Roosters fan and would always yell out, going ‘Goooo Roosters!’.

“She was married to my step-dad, Rick Rampant, for nine years,” she said.

Miss Czis said her mum loved to joke around and always had a sense of sarcasm in her voice.

“We would bully each other jokingly, often,” she said.

Her mother’s fear of animals did not stop her from buying her daughter a pet, something Miss Czis said she would never forget.

“One thing I’ll remember forever is her fear of birds, which I loved.

“She was always so scared of them, but she sacrificed her fear and bought me an indian ringneck parrot,” Miss Czis said.

“That bird will live with me until I’m about 80.

Many close friends have paid tribute to Mrs Robinson on social media.
