The social knockout Touch Football tournament has a long history in the region, with this year marking the eighth annual event.
Seventy teams are taking part in the two-day event this weekend, with nine divisions including players under 12 years old right through to open men’s, women’s and mixed games.
Teams from across the state will be battling it out for the $200,000 purse, and more than 56 of the teams have travelled from outside the region for the blockbuster event.
