We have been there to capture the good, bad and ugly from the January 26 public holiday through the years, such as the riots on the Gold Coast in 2009, or the 2020 Brisbane protest which erupted into chaos as a protester rushed the stage.

Then there are those merely celebrating the Aussie lifestyle, and others protesting the date of “Invasion Day”.
