UPDATE 10.25AM: QUEENSLAND Police has revealed more information about the victim of a fatal traffic crash west of Toowoomba overnight.
A statement from QPS confirmed that the driver of the ute, that was spotted by a member of the public in the early hours of the morning, and sole occupant, a 31-year-old man was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Forensic Crash Unit is continuing to investigate.
EARLIER: A PERSON has been killed in a single vehicle rollover west of Toowoomba overnight.
A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said a member of the public came across the accident on Branchview Road, Branchview, and phoned police around 5am this morning
"The person was found deceased, outside the vehicle…we're not sure how long they'd been deceased for at this point in time," the spokeswoman said.
Police are still in the process of contacting the victim's family.
Dalby police said initial investigations suggested the vehicle had left the road for unknown reasons, and rolled.
Officers from the Forensic Crash Unit, Dalby, and Cecil Plains police stations have been investigating since around 5.30am.
