‘An unprecedented catastrophe’: War in the Gaza Strip

As war rages, casualties mount. Israel has vowed to allow international aid into southern Gaza to help a fraction of the one million people displaced in the past ten days. As each side blames the other for the devastating attack on the Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza City, heartbroken civilians bury their loved ones. The UN has warned that “an unprecedented catastrophe is unfolding” in Gaza; here are just a few of those affected. WARNING: GRAPHIC.
