Bellies were as full as Queens Park was at the weekend, when children from across the region took to the space in search of chocolate eggs.
The Easter egg hunt which was held on Sunday, was hosted by Toowoomba real estate agency RE/MAX Success in a bid to bring the community together.
More than 100,000 and $17,000 worth of eggs were up for grabs on the day with kids, parents and even grandparents taking advantage of the scavenger hunt.
“There was around 3000 people descending on Queens Park through the course of the day,” RE/MAX Success general manager Daniel Burrett said.
“With free jumping castles, face painting and (plenty of) Easter eggs to give away, the smiles on the kid’s faces were everywhere.”
Among the lucky winners on the day was Chloe Wills, who was one of six recipients to win a giant golden egg prize.
Nearly 2000 children kids registered to participate in the free event.
