More than 100 regional artists, makers and food producers from across Queensland, NSW, Victoria and Tasmania have showcased their handmade goods at the Bush Christmas Exhibition.
The annual event which was founded in 1996, features a variety of Australian-made products and connects makers from the bush with customers.
“The Bush Christmas Exhibition has such a long and rich history, so it’s an honour to be able to contribute to that this year,” director Wendy Allen said.
“In recent years though, Bush Christmas has really shone as a platform for promoting quality, Australian-made products and art pieces – something that consumers have really supported and advocated for post Covid.
“Shoppers to our exhibition love the fact that products have been thoughtfully designed and made by a small-business owner, are high quality and not mass produced.”
Items on offer include artworks, garden ornaments, gourmet food, jewellery, accessories, homewares, books and toys and Christmas treats.
The exhibition will be held at the Masonic Centre at 58 Neil St, until December 2, from 9am to 6pm daily.
