UPDATE: ONE person has been airlifted to Toowoomba Hospital following a two-car crash on the New England Highway this morning.
Another four patients were transported to Kingaroy Hospital, two with minor injuries and two with no obvious injuries, after two vehicles collided near the highway's intersection with Thornville Range Rd, about 9am.
All patients were transported in a stable condition.
EARLIER - 10AM: PARAMEDICS are assessing four people after a two cars collided on the New England Highway north of Toowoomba this morning.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said paramedics were at the scene of the crash, which occurred near the highway's intersection with Thornville Range Rd, at about 9am.
Both firefighters and police are also in attendance.
The QAS spokeswoman said it was likely some patients would be transported to hospital.
EARLIER: Emergency services are rushing to a two vehicle crash on the New England Highway, north of Toowoomba.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Service spokeswoman said crews were enroute to a two vehicle crash near Thornville, south of Yarraman.
Police are about to arrive on scene.
