Paramedics called to multiple crashes on our roads

FROM minor prangs to late-night helicopter rides, police and paramedics were busy on Sunday night.

PARAMEDICS have transported a woman in her late teens to the Toowoomba Hospital for observation after she was involved in a two-vehicle crash on Alderley St.

The minor crash occurred shortly before 8am and capped a busy night for emergency services.

They were called to single vehicle crash to treat two motorists who collided with a kangaroo on Kurrajong Rd at Jimboomba, about 2.15am.

One motorist was transported to the Mater Private Hospital in a stable condition with neck, back and thigh injuries.

A second patient had no obvious injuries.

A minor crash, again on Alderley St in Toowoomba, occurred about 11.45pm on Sunday.

Paramedics were called to the scene, but no one was injured.

About 4.30pm, paramedics assessed a patient injured in a single-vehicle rollover on Mort St.

They transported the motorist to the Toowoomba Hospital for observation.
