Oakey police hunt amateur graffiti vandals

OAKEY police are calling for anyone who recognises graffiti tags painted on a number of buildings to come forward.

OAKEY police are calling for anyone who recognises graffiti tags painted on a number of buildings to come forward.

Sometime between midnight and 9am on Saturday, offenders spray-painted amateur tags made up of letters on the back wall of a licensed premises.

The tags include the initials JD and SRYN, in different colours including black, red and blue.

Other similar tags were observed on other nearby buildings, police said.

Anyone with information about the tags is urged to contact Oakey police on 4691 1020.
