Teenager hospitalised after police pursuit ends in crash down embankment in Sydney’s east
A teenager has been taken to hospital and three others uninjured after a late-night police pursuit in Vaucluse ended with a car crashing down an embankment.

A teenage driver has been taken to hospital after a police pursuit through Sydney’s ritzy eastern suburbs ended in a crash overnight.
Officers attempted to stop a vehicle on Hopetoun Ave in Vaucluse shortly before 11.20pm on Sunday.
When the driver failed to stop, a pursuit was initiated but was quickly terminated due to safety concerns.
Moments later, the vehicle was found crashed down an embankment on the same street.
The driver, a 17-year-old boy, was treated at the scene by paramedics and taken to St Vincent’s Hospital as a precaution.
Three teenage passengers, two boys and a girl, were assessed but escaped without injury.
Police established a crime scene and commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
