Sydney man faces 20 charges after police seize guns, drugs and cash
A 43-year-old man was arrested in Sydney’s west after the Raptor Squad found a huge stash of firearms, drugs and cash in his vehicle and home, resulting in 20 charges being laid.

A routine traffic stop in Sydney’s west has uncovered a criminal cache of weapons, drugs, and tens of thousands in cash, leading to the arrest of a man now facing 20 charges.
The dramatic find came after officers from the Raptor Squad pulled over an unregistered vehicle in Harris Park at about 11.50am Monday morning only to discover the driver was already banned from possessing firearms.
A search of the vehicle uncovered a replica firearm along with nearly 19 grams of Xanax, leading to the man’s arrest at the scene and being taken to Parramatta Police Station.
Following the arrest, further inquiries led officers to conduct a compliance check at his home in Villawood.
Inside the property, police uncovered a significant illegal haul, including a revolver firearm, more than 50 live rounds of ammunition, two additional replica guns, and a baton.
They also found over $55,000 in cash and a substantial quantity of illicit substances.
Among the drugs seized were 213 grams of meth, 19.5 grams of cocaine, 82 grams of cannabis, 29 grams of ketamine, 39 grams of Valium, and anabolic steroids, along with other unidentified substances.
The man is now facing 20 charges related to the possession of firearms, prohibited drugs, and vehicle offences.
He was refused bail and is set to appear before Parramatta Local Court today.
