Wild footage has emerged of a prison brawl between two well-known Western Sydney rappers, Ali “Ay Huncho” Younes and Sesita “Radistarz” Lyzwa, inside Parklea Correctional Centre last year.
The fight, which broke out inside the prison’s visitation area on June 12, 2024, was captured on security footage and has since been the subject of a State Crime Command investigation.
Police allege Younes was sitting in the visitatino room when Lyzwa walked past on his way to visit his brother, Alexen.
Tensions quickly escalated, with Lyzwa’s alleged ties to the controversial rap group OneFour and Younes’ suspected links to the rival Alameddine crime network fuelling the conflict.
According to a document tendered during Younes’ bail application on a separate kidnapping charge, detectives allege he spotted Lyzwa and instigated the “mutual” fight, raising his hands and “motioning with a ‘come here’ gesture”.
“The men engage in a physical fight … after multiple punches are thrown,” police wrote.
Shocking CCTV footage from the prison shows the pair exchanging words before launching into a flurry of punches.
A third inmate soon joins in before prison officers swiftly intervene to break up the fight.
A Department of Communities and Justice spokeswoman confirmed Corrective Services NSW was aware of the altercation between Lyzwa and Younes last year and the matter was dealt with by the courts.
The matter was referred to the Criminal Groups Squad and both men were charged with affray.
On October 23 last year, charges against Younes were withdrawn and dismissed in Blacktown Local Court, with a scheduled hearing date vacated.
Meanwhile, Lyzwa pleaded guilty to affray and was sentenced to one month in prison, beginning the day after the brawl and expiring in July 2024.
A subsequent appeal to the District Court wias ultimately withdrawn.
Meanwhile, the State Crime Command’s Raptor Squad has taken charge of the police investigation into a separate prison brawl at the privately operated Parklea jail.
Video of the brutal incident, obtained by The Daily Telegraph this week, shows a jail inmate being attacked by a rival group, including one man armed with a shiv, and repeatedly punched, kicked and stabbed for more than a minute.
As that unfolded, another prisoner videoed the incident on a phone that had been smuggled into the jail.
The footage subsequently began circulating on social media.
“Officers attached to the State Crime Command’s Raptor Squad have commenced an investigation into the incident,” a NSW Police spokesman told The Daily Telegraph.
