An investigation is underway after a police van was involved in a four-vehicle crash while responding to an emergency call in Doonside Tuesday morning.
At 11:30am two police officers were rushing to the scene of a reported domestic violence incident when their truck collided with a stationary car at a red light at the intersection of Knox and Eastern Rd.
The impact caused minor damage to two additional vehicles nearby.
One police officer was transported to hospital for assessment of minor injuries.
No other injuries have been reported at this time.
A video posted to Tik Tok shows the vehicle flipped onto its roof and blocking dozens of other cars.
As the scene unfolds, multiple police cars are seen rushing to the flipped vehicle.
Officers have launched an investigation into the circumstances leading up to the crash.
