A Sydney man charged by police with sexually assaulting his ex-girlfriend, her mother and her daughter in separate incidents has been found not guilty of the offences against the daughter.
The Campbelltown man, who cannot be named so his alleged victims are not identified, was charged in 2023, with prosecutors alleging in court documents his alleged victims were “mother, daughter and grandmother”.
The man, now 33, was found not guilty of sexual assault offences against the daughter after a three-week trial in the NSW District Court on Wednesday.
A jury took 30 minutes to decide its verdict.
He has pleaded not guilty to the other offences against the ex-girlfriend and her mother.
He will face separate trials over them at later dates.
Outside court, high-profile solicitor Ahmed Dib, who is presenting the man, said his client was pleased with the not guilty verdict in relation to the daughter.
“It was a terrible accusation to be made, and my client is absolutely ecstatic that the world knows that he is innocent,” Mr Dib said.
“We’re looking forward to again putting our defence before a jury to make their decision in the other trials.”
The man and the ex-girlfriend split in 2021 after a long relationship.
Police had alleged the daughter spoke up about the man allegedly forcing himself upon her when she had been staying with him.
The ex-girlfriend then came forward to allege she had been forced to have sex with him under they threat of violence before they split.
The mother alleges she was sexually assaulted by the man after he had done some repairs on her car.
