A woman whose wild arrest footage went viral has fronted court again for the second time this month – this time facing allegations she obtained the details of a police officer and stalked them.

Helen Delaney, 54, made headlines in early 2023 when footage of her resisting police during a traffic stop went viral.

In the video, she told an officer he had no jurisdiction over her and insisted she was “travelling” not driving, prompting the police to smash her car window and drag her out.

Delaney this week fronted Nowra Local Court with separate charges – obtaining personal information about a police officer and stalk/intimidate with intention to cause phsical harm.

She pleaded not guilty to that first charge on September 24 last year.
