An 82-year-old man has died after his quad bike flipped on a remote property in the state’s north west.
On Monday at about 4.30pm, emergency services were called to a property south of Moree after reports of a crash.
New England Police District officers rushed to the scene and found a quad bike that had rolled over on the levee bank of the Tycannah Creek.
The elderly man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash site was examined by forensic investigators and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
