Passiontree Velvet opened in Grand Central today, much to the excitement of city foodies.

The café, patisserie and high-tea store announced it was coming to Toowoomba in March.

It is inspired by English tea houses and Parisian patisseries and offers a world of edible luxury minus the price tag.

It is located on level one of the shopping centre, towards Woolworths.
