Missing child Victor, 7, found safe and well

Northern Territory Police have thanked the members of the community who helped locate the 7-year-old who went missing in Palmerston Friday morning.

4.20pm: A 7-year-old boy who went missing in Palmerston on Friday morning has been found “safe and well”.

Northern Territory Police advised Victor had been located on Friday afternoon, after a going missing from a Zuccoli playground before 11am.

“We would like to extend a huge thank you to all community members who assisted in the search efforts. Your help has been invaluable,” NT Police said in a statement.

“Northern Territory Police utilised all available resources, including the Tactical Response Group, Search and Rescue, General Duties, the Dog Operations Unit, and Crime members in the search for Victor.”

Concern for child missing from Palmerston playground

2.20pm: Northern Territory Police are calling for information to find a child missing in Palmerston.

At 10.45am on Friday, 7-year-old Victor left a park near Laniyak Court in Zuccoli.

It is not known which direction he travelled.

Victor is described as Asian in appearance with short dark brown-black hair, wearing an orange T-shirt and dark blue shorts with a pattern on them.

Anyone who sees him is urged to contact police immediately on triple-0.
